DenTek Flossers

This is a review of the DenTek Flossers. I received two samples. One for adults (Comfort Clean) and one for children (Fun Flossers). My son loved his, they are great bright colors. He actually wanted to try and floss his teeth. I liked mine as well but with a broken tooth it got stuck. These come in really handy at work though. Its portable so I kept one in my lunch bag and used it when lunch tried sticking around.
From the Influenster site (they let me review these)

Suggested retail price for Fun Flossers: $2.99

Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookie Review

This one is a quick review. I mean what else can I say about an oatmeal cookie but MMMMM. Its about time Quaker got into making its amazing oatmeal into a cookie. I love that they are individually wrapped. Makes a great addition to the lunch box. I cant wait to see what other flavors they come out with.

Per the Influenster site (they let me review this product):

Where to Buy

You can find Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies at most major retailers. Suggested retail price: $2.69 for a box of 6 cookies

Ivory Soap Review

They say its so pure it can float! Well I didn't test that theory but I did get a chance to try a bar of it. First I looked up uses for this soap since its said to have many purposes. Here are some interesting ones I found:
  • Laundry soap (just chip into washer)
  • Facial Cleanser
  • Finger Paint (melted in microwave and add food coloring)
  • Spot Stain Remover
  • Teach Carving Tool
  • and melted into water for a bugspray for your plants.
I chose the last one since this is my first garden ever and the bugs are enjoying it more then I am.

Let me just say that I tested this on my pepper plants which looked like swiss cheese. I started to notice a difference in just one day!! This stuff is amazing and it wont harm us. Its now been two weeks since I sprayed the plant. The leaves are healthy green and hole free. AND I now have 2 peppers growing. Love this stuff and told all my friends with gardens about it.

Per Influenster ( they let me test this):

Find your Ivory now at your nearest retailer, including stores such as Walmart and Target as well as any major grocery, dollar and drug store. A 10-pack of Ivory bar soap retails for around $4.49 (bath bar size).

How I Prepare for a Walmart Match-Up Trip

First you must go to my favorite place to get Walmart under $1 lists...IHeartTheMart.com

Second Print the Under $1 list. You will use this to keep track of everything as you are searching.

Next go through your binder and match up the coupons. If I dont have the matching coupon I cross it off the list. If I have a matching I write how many of that coupon I have next to the list.
After I have located a set of coupons I clip a sticky with info on the coupons and put them in an envelope.

After I've went through the whole list I go back and add up what my total cost for the trip will be by using the number of coupons times the price from the list. This give me an idea what my budget will be. When I get to the store if the price does NOT match up I will only get the item if its within a $.10 difference. This saves me from killing the budget to much. Hope this helps. And once you get the hang of it there is also a site for Target lovers as well.

Ultra Palmolive Fresh Sponge Soap

I recently had a chance to try out the new Ultra Palmolive Fresh Sponge Soap. I have to say my sponge has not got the funk since trying this. One thing I didnt like about this product was that is smelled weird. I had to do the dishes with the window open. There is no scent listed so I believe it must be the basic model. I bet when they come out with this in stores you will see different scents. I would love to try it in maybe an apple. Anyway back to the product. It does what it says it keeps the sponge fresh (my boyfriend even left it in the sink with dirty dishes...eeeewww) and it still was fresh. Heres the details from the site in case you need it:
Palmolive®
Palmolive Fresh SpongeTM dishwashing liquid has a unique dual-action formula designed to wash away odor causing residue from sponges and clean dishes to a sparkling shine. Both dishes and sponge are left smelling freshly cleaned.

Product Details:
· Cleans dishes
· Freshens sponges
· Tough on Grease, Soft on Hands®

Where to Buy
The suggested retail price of Palmolive Fresh SpongeTM is $3.29 for a 25oz. bottle. It is available in most grocery stores, and mass retailers like Walmart and Target.
Palmolive Fresh SpongeTM dishwashing liquid can also be purchased online at www.soap.com and www.walmart.com.
